Born with a passion for art, I drew throughout my life, and like many goals growing up. The first thing I saw and loved was something I wanted to make a part of my life forever. Art.

Christopher Lopez
I have been in a love-hate relationship with art throughout my life. An On-and-Off type of thing. A back-and-forth scuffle, where every day it’s a fight about something. What to put on paper, what to express, what to do, what narrative to show, what world to express, what colors to choose. What. To. Draw. But it’s that same struggle that always expresses the most in a drawing. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. But I’d be a liar if I didn’t admit I wish it did, though. But I wouldn’t change anything. With all its struggles comes love and experience. To grow my skills in Art and as an Individual.
My work expresses those same struggles with my sharp and stylized works. An expression of frustration and rhythm of chaos and uncertainty. As well as Style and Intensity.
Bio
Christopher Lopez is an illustrator currently based in Wheeling. An undergraduate at Columbia College in Chicago. I have done commissioned works for Tattoo designs as well as Comics and other art pieces requested by clients.
Throughout Christopher’s works in Illustrations, as well as Paintings and animation, I try to express my sharp and edgy style to the world through my stylized illustrations. Trying to express the bold and strange world of storytelling through my weird and intense art. Taking my struggles and fueling my creativity.
